We are absolutely delighted to announce that FCFC has been awarded 'The FA Charter Standard Community Club' status which is the top tier of the FA accreditation scheme.
The FA Charter Standard Programme is The FA’s flagship accreditation scheme which is open to all grassroots clubs and leagues. It aims to raise standards in the grassroots game, supporting the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding commitment, quality and achievement.
Formby Community FC had previously been awarded 'FA Development' Status demonstrating a well-run and sustainable football club. Clubs which achieve The FA Charter Standard status are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding as well as the values of The FA’s Respect campaign as part of their game.
The 'FA Charter Standard Community' status acknowledges only the most advanced level of club development and football provision. Clubs which achieve 'The FA Charter Community' Status are challenged to maintain the highest standards and, where appropriate, to improve and progress to new levels. FCFC now join only a small number of other clubs to have been awarded this status.
The future is bright, the future is orange.
