Team News

U18 Boys
It was a tale of two halves for the U18 Boys on a very soggy pitch. The first half saw MSB Woolton Inter take control, scoring on 29 minutes and adding a second just before the break. But the lads came out fighting in the second half, pulling one back through James after a superb cross, then making it 2-3 with 10 minutes to go. Unfortunately, a late slip gifted the opposition another goal, and despite piling on the pressure, it ended 4-2. A frustrating result, but the second-half performance showed real character. MOTM went to our keeper for some incredible saves!

U14 Boys
The U14 Boys delivered a solid 5-1 victory over Boca Bucks. It was a confident performance, setting the tone for the tougher games ahead. Keep it up, lads!

U13 Oranges
Oh, the heartbreak for the U13 Oranges! After leading twice, they were pegged back to a 3-2 loss against St Michaels DH. It's been a tough run with narrow defeats, but this team’s spirit and fight are undeniable. The manager might joke about job security, but we know the wins are coming! ?

U13 Purples
The U13 Purples faced a well-drilled Prescot Cables side and came away with a 7-2 defeat. Despite the scoreline, the team kept going until the final whistle.
That perseverance will pay off!

U11 Falcon Boys
A hard-fought win for the U11 Falcons against Soccer Blue! Despite a penalty decision going against them, the boys battled through and secured the victory. They’re flying high in mid-league—an incredible achievement so far this season! ?

U10 Fire Boys
The U10 Fire Boys reignited their form with a much-needed win. A fantastic team performance, keeping the ball and playing smart football, with new goalie Archie saving a penalty to top it all off. Keep that fire burning! ?

U10 Rocket Boys
The Rockets had a tricky match against Silcox Villa, where bad luck played its part. Despite a great goal from Luke and an attacking finish, they couldn’t quite turn it around. Another day, this result would’ve been different. Heads up, lads—you’re blasting off again soon! ?

U9 Lion Boys
A roaring performance from the U9 Lions, securing a well-deserved win over FCN Madrid. Smiles were back after last week’s narrow defeat. That’s the spirit, Lions! ?

U7 Falcon Boys
It was a tough day at the office for the U7 Falcons, but they gave it their all. The boys will learn from this and come back stronger. Keep flying high, Falcons!

U6
One team out this week for the FCFC U6s, and while we were on the wrong side of the result, it was a very competitive game. The boys were fantastic for the first 15 minutes, keeping their shape and limiting the opposition's chances. However, a bit of overexcitement crept in, and we lost some of our structure, allowing Netherton Athletic to take their opportunities. A solid effort from everyone, though, with a final score of 3-6. On to the next one! ?⚽

Ladies First Team
Not the best of results for the Ladies First Team this week, as they fell to a 4-0 defeat against Marine. However, the effort and determination on display were nothing short of commendable. The team dug deep and made it a tough game for Marine, showcasing the response the manager had asked for before kick-off. A massive well done to the ladies for their spirit and resilience. We build on this and go again next week with a home match! ??

U18 Girls
The U18 Girls showed incredible determination with only 11 fit players against Woolton. Despite creating countless chances, a last-minute equaliser saw the match end 1-1.
A fantastic performance in tough circumstances. Heads held high, girls!

U14 Girls
The U14 Girls faced Matthiola Flames in the cup and didn’t let a 2-0 halftime deficit dampen their spirits. They pulled one back but were unlucky to concede a third. A disappointing result, but the performance was brilliant.

U13 Girls
A tough match for the U13 Girls against last year’s league winners. They conceded three in the first half but fought back better in the second. While hopes for the league might feel out of reach, this team’s resilience shines. Keep battling, girls!
Calling all aspiring goalkeepers! The U13 Girls are on the lookout for a goalie to join their squad. If you’re ready to make some match-winning saves and be part of a fantastic team, get in touch today! ?

U12 Phoenix Girls
What a performance from the U12 Phoenixes! Their passing was on point, and they stormed to a victory over Marina Sands. An outstanding display of skill and teamwork—this team is on fire! ?

U11 Raider Girls
The U11 Raiders faced a strong FSG Madrid side in a tough match. While the result didn’t go their way, the team showed great resilience, putting training into practice. Sometimes the lessons learned are the real win. Onwards, Raiders!

U10 Panther Girls
The Panthers clawed their way to an exciting draw against MBS Dallas. After falling behind twice, they fought back with determination to level the game.
A proud day for the girls, showing their never-give-up attitude! ?

U9 Tiger Girls
The U9 Tigers faced the top-of-the-league, unbeaten MBS Celta—and they were sensational! Setting up defensively, they frustrated the opposition and kept the first half goalless. An unlucky own goal sealed the game, but the Tigers’ intensity and teamwork were incredible. What a match! ?⚽

U8 Fox Girls
The U8 Foxes were fantastic against a strong Fillies team. After going down early, they rallied to equalise and then stormed to victory. Everything clicked today, from short corners to quick goal kicks. A performance to be proud of—these girls love their footy! ?

U7 Girls
The U7 Girls had their third meet-up this weekend, and what a joy it was! It’s lovely to see so many young players beginning their football journey. Most of the girls are new to the game, so the session focused on fun games and learning the basics. Lots of smiles all around – a fantastic start for our future stars! ?
What a week of ups, downs, and everything in between! Huge congratulations to all our teams for their hard work, determination, and passion. Let’s bring the same energy into next week. FCFC—more than football, it’s family! ?
